Matthew Adshead

Matthew Adshead

Matthew is a graduate of the School of Kinesiology and Health Science at York University and a Can-Fit-Pro certified trainer.

Matthew describes fitness as a simple concept; beyond the fad diets and coolest activities, fitness is as simple as eating right and getting active. Helping someone to achieve this realization, and getting active in anyway that they enjoy, is his primary goal.





Alethea Anderson

Alethea is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry minor. She is certified through CAN-FIT-PRO as a Personal Trainer and is a STOTT Pilates trained matt instructor.

As a Pilates instructor, Alethea has worked with clients of many ages with a variety of fitness goals including: get fit post-pregnancy, return to pre-injury strength, increase flexibility and strength, improve posture, and even just stay fit.

Having been a competitive figure skater, Alethea understands the importance of mind-body exercise and appreciates the importance of core stability in sport. She practices yoga and plays rec volleyball in her spare time and is able to draw from her fitness experiences to deliver a well-rounded workout to her clients.

Currently a student at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Alethea is working towards a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She uses her academic background to educate her clients about proper posture, diet, flexibility, and safe exercise.


Jenn Brockett

Jenn Brockett

Jennifer is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPTN certified), a Johnny G spinning instructor and a Cycling Performance Specialist. She has been involved in the fitness industry for over 5 years and has worked with cyclists, runners and many other health conscious clients. She is a competitive mountain biker and has been a member of Epic Cycling's race team for two years.

Jennifer is an excellent and fun motivator and is always full of energy, enthusiasm and helpful knowledge. Jennifer believes that fitness is integral to a healthy, balanced lifestyle.


Lisa Creelman

Lisa Creelman

Lisa Creelman has been studying various forms of martial arts since 1991, including Chito-Ryu Karate, Aiki Jujitsu, Kendo, and Tae Kwon Do. She holds a 2nd degree black belt in Chito-Ryu Karate. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200), focusing on post & pre natal. In addition, she is co owner and program coordinator of The Road to Safety Self Defense, specializing in self defense for women, children, physically impaired and personal security. Lisa has been teaching personal fitness since 1998, applying her vast experience to create a unique cross-training union of martial arts, yoga, pilates, resistance, strength, endurance training and conditioning. Her talents extend beyond fitness in the areas of circus performance, acting and costume design.




Glen Cross

Glen Cross

Glen Cross has more than 10 years experience in the fitness industry with 5 years of personal training through CanFit Pro under his belt. Brown belt that is.... in the martial art discipline of Shotokan Karate.

The focus of Shotokan allows the student to fight many opponents at once and naturally enhances one's ability to multitask. It was therefore only a matter of time before Glen sought out other activities to round out his workouts. Glen's fitness regimen progressed further to include jujitsu, rock climbing, biking, and running.

Glen's multidisciplinary training and background translates into his work outs with his clients today. Drawing on aspects of martial arts, yoga, pilates, and core strength conditioning Glen's training sessions incorporate the use of ones own body weight with light hearted humour to help get you through the hour. Glen believes that training should be fun, so you can expect to leave a session with a smile on your face.

Glen is also an accomplished writer, actor, and sketch comedian.


Bisa Dobson

Bisa Dobson

Bisa has an Honours degree in Kinesiology (York University), is a Can-Fit-Pro certified personal trainer, lifestyle coach, and registered massage therapist. Through coaching Bisa helps her clients discover ways to make choices that move them past these obstacles and closer to attaining the health and fitness level they desire.

In her role as a trainer Bisa strives to teach her clients how to get the results they are after, and to push them to work hard during workouts.

As your Gym manager Bisa is here to assist you with your fitness needs.


Cherilee Garofano

Cherilee Garofano

Cherilee has been in the fitness industry for over 8 years. She has a B.A. and certifications in the following: CanFitPro Advanced Personal Trainer, Stott Pilates Matwork, SwissBall I and II, and is a Johnny G Spin Instructor. She is a competitive road cyclist, triathlete and marathoner and is a member of Team RACE, a road cycling team dedicated to promoting cancer awareness and finding its cure. She will be doing her first full Ironman in Pendiction B.C. this summer.




Leah Gibeault

Leah Gibeault

Leah is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry as well as a Diploma in Business Administration. She is currently a student at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College working towards a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She uses her academic background to emphasize proper posture, diet, flexibility, and safe exercise.

As a personal trainer, Leah enjoys the challenge of working with a variety of clients to achieve different goals. Whether looking to lose weight, improve athletic abilities, increase flexibility and strength, she individualizes the program to fit the goals and lifestyle at hand. She brings passion, motivation and energy to every workout!

She believes variety and enthusiasm are two key components to a successful fitness program. In her spare time, Leah enjoys rock climbing, yoga and being a part of several recreational teams (beach volleyball, softball and hockey).




Grady Kelneck

Grady Kelneck

Grady has an Honours B.A. in Kinesiology (UWO), is CanfitPro Certified PTS, Stott Pilates Trained and has done personal training for 1 year.

Grady spent a year apprenticing a European master trainer who employed his own functional regimens in training various movie stars and professional athletes. Grady specializes in functional training with an emphasis on core stabilization.

Kristie McKay

I'm a budding Personal trainer who loves to be outside. I went to Humber College for Personal training and Massage. I've tried to play or do as many sports as possible from soccer, rugby and hockey to scuba diving. I love running and all that it entails (hills are your friend!) My full time job is with the military and I have been to a lot of strange and wonderful places on adventures with the Canadian Forces. I have many fun stories to motivate and make you laugh (hopefully!). I love watching people make set and achieve goals that they've got.

I have worked with clients from Marathoner's to beginner runners; I've also worked with higher level athletes and with kids. My biggest passion is of course helping people into a healthy lifestyle that they can enjoy for the rest of their lives. I firmly believe in the power of active living and how it changes your whole life. Stay fit and be happy!


Lucianna Plaxton

Lucianna has been a competitive swimmer for 17 years with an astounding list of competitive wins, most notably winning 15 All American awards, which only a handful of athletes can claim. Her background in athletics has taught her the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle, benefits she wants to pass on. Her goal is to educate and inspire.

Using a unique combination of plyometrics, resistance bands and core strengthening exercises Lucianna will help to transform you from what you are to what you want to be. So whether you are a stay at home mum, weekend warrior, Ironman competitor or someone who just wants to integrate fitness into their everyday life she has the knowledge and passion to motivate you to succeed.

Cynthia Sager Cynthia Sager

Cynthia is a passionate long distance runner and cyclist who will motivate, and help you achieve your goals while having fun and staying "injury-free". Cynthia completed her first marathon in Vegas at the end of 2005 and two duathalons in the summer of 2007. From personal experience as an athlete and as a mother of three boys, she knows that training equals results and believes that good health is one of the keys to success. "Taking control of your body is as important as taking control of your life."

Well qualified to help you be successful in reaching your fitness goals, Cynthia is certified through Can-Fit Pro as a Personal Training Specialist and has completed Resist-A-Ball Level I and II and BOSU. In addition she has her Instructor Certification and her Boot Camp Instructor Certification in Fitness Kickboxing.

Bridget Sheahan Bridget Sheahan

Bridget joins Train by Trina with a diverse background of academic and athletic endeavors. Her passion for sport led her to pursue an Honors Degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University. Immediately following this, she completed a Masters Degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Windsor. While completing these degrees, Bridget was a member of the varsity Track and Field and Cross Country Teams. At present she is working towards a Doctorate in Chiropractic. She currently participates in yoga, skiing, weight training and of course, running.

Bridget's strong background in exercise science allows her to create successful programs for a diverse group of clients. Her programs will help you transform your body, renew your energy, and improve your self confidence!


Lauren Shuster

Lauren Shuster

Lauren is a graduate of the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Anthropology and Biology minor. She is certified through CAN-FIT-PRO as a Personal Trainer Specialist and Fitness Instructor Specialist.

As a Personal Trainer, Lauren has worked with a variety of clients ranging from those looking to stay fit during and post-pregnancy, to those looking to improve their golf game by increasing their flexibility and strength.

Lauren has a background in modern dance and ballet which she uses to help educate her clients about proper posture, focus, flexibility and balance. Lauren specializes in core training using the stability ball and resistance bands.

Lauren is a graduate of York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. She has studied jazz and ballet since the age of 6 and is currently cheerleading in the CFL and has been for the past 6 years. Lauren is certified through CAN-FIT-PRO as a Personal Trainer Specialist.

Through Personal training Lauren has been able to share her passion for health and fitness while helping a variety of clients reach their goals, whether you want to transform your body or just increase your level of fitness, Lauren can help you do it. As a Personal Trainer, Lauren has worked with a variety of clients ranging from soccer moms to competitive athletes.

Amy Tsai Amy Tsai

Amy believes in creating a balanced fitness program that incorporates strength, endurance and flexibility training. She has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years, first receiving her Johnny G Spinning Instructor certification then her Fitness Instructor Specialist certification through Can-Fit-Pro. She is currently pursuing her Personal Trainer Specialist certification and plans to move into Fitness full time.

Amy is an excellent motivator and is always full of energy. She believes fitness is a vital part of a healthy mind, body and spirit and her role as fitness professional is to help clients achieve their fitness goals with fun and enthusiasm.

I strive to influence others to create and establish realistic and achievable goals that will advance them to self-improvement. Committed to guiding and teaching by example and practical demonstration, as well as providing effective and accurate information for a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

I'm a Can-fit Pro certified Fitness Instructor Specialist. I teach Step Aerobics, Cardio Kickbox and Body Sculpt classes in Scarborough. I'll be writig my Personal Trainer Specialist exam shortly and am working towards my Nutrition and Wellness Specialist certification. I'm constantly reading and studying the many different areas of fitness. Fitness is my passion! I love all aspects of it. To me, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing others enjoying themselves while gaining a better quality of life.


Erin Westover Erin Westover - Collingwood Trainer

I am a Can-fit Pro certified Personal Trainer Specialist as well as a Nutrition and Wellness Specialist. I am a cardio hip hop dance teacher in Collingwood. I was a competitive Irish dancer, trained in Ballet, modern, highland, hip hop, and ballroom dance. I am pursuing my Fitness instructor specialist course. And hope to complete my Yoga instructors in the near future. I am continuously furthering my education in regards to health and fitness. This is my passion and my career.

It is a very rewarding experience to help individuals improve their quality of life. I look forward to working with anyone who is willing to set goals toward a healthier state of being.
